Pink Collar Coach’s Range of Emotions

Pink Collar Coach’s Range of Emotions

I’ve felt a range of emotions on Day 70 of the Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Project.┬áRather than try to describe them all, I found this perfect visual which beautifully depicts the high, the low and some of the in-between. Being a wife, mom, professional woman, and creative person can have ups and downs. All of these can wear on women. ┬áThat seems to be the case with this illustrated young woman. While she does not always look happy, she does appear to have joy. It’s there beneath the surface, despite the other emotions at play.

The difference is that happiness is contingent on circumstances. Joy comes from being content, no matter than circumstances. This pretty Pink Collar Chick and I have that in common.

If I had any artistic talent to draw my own illustrations for my blog, especially now that I’m finally writing short stories, my artwork would look like this. Since I can’t, I’ve been using what I sincerely hope are royalty-free images from Shutterstock. I did my research and this came up as being free, then it appeared it may not be. I was going to sign up and pay an annual subscription fee to use, but to be honest, I need to think on that tonight. So for now, I’m using the Shutterstock images believing I have permission to and will figure it out in the morning. I’ll share when I do, so it will hopefully answer that question for other bloggers. In the meantime, I can only hope and pray I won’t get sued tomorrow!

As a Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Chick who is also my Father’s daughter, I’m so thankful today that in trying to do the right things for the right reasons, but not always knowing how, while I may not know what my tomorrow holds, I know who holds my tomorrow.
