It’s Day 349 of the Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Project, and because I’m not techy, I spent a good deal of it preparing a three minute video –
“Master Powerful Questions and Mentor to Maximum Potential” as an answer to a call for proposal for an upcoming women’s event. With my patient husband’s assistance, I completed it but don’t think it uploaded correctly. Consequently, I’m posting here and am going to copy and paste this link in an email and submit it in the hopes it will be accepted. Seeing yourself on video is disconcerting, but other than becoming aware of how much my teeth have shifted without my retainer since I wore braces, I feel pretty good about the content. I’ve presented a form of the workshop, entitled, “Asking Powerful Questions” a few times for mentors in a college setting and in a program that mentors youths but have tweaked it to meet the requirements for the proposal – one of which is that it be useful for professional women mentors in their work with mentees. I believe this new version, “Master Powerful Questions and Mentor to Maximize Potential” fits the bill. Hopefully the decision makers will, too!
As a Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose life coach and speaker, I love it when the professional planets align and I get opportunities to do both. And I’m not sure yet, but I may even have a chance to take along copies of Seasons of Her Soul if I’m selected to present. That would be ideal but definitely not a deal breaker if I can’t! All that said, I must confess, I’m excited about learning some new begging blogger skills! And I’d love any feedback on the video because I’m considering doing some vlogging – video blogging – to spice up my site…
So, as a Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose reader, what are your thoughts on that addition to Pink Collar Savvy & Chic? See, there’s an example of me mastering a powerful question (I left it open-ended to get you thinking) – not to mentor in order to maximize your potential, but hopefully to maximize the potential of this blog – for your reading/viewing pleasure! Thank you!
Be savvy & chic,
~Pink Collar Coach
