It’s Day 343 of the Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Project and I’m pleased to report that I had the Best Seasons of Her Soul Book Signing! Before it was officially open, a local author bought a book during set up and exclaimed, Gotta support local authors! Then a woman from my Zumba class came in – even though she hadn’t heard my announcement about the signing in yesterday’s announcement (She admits she may have been chatting…). There to meet a friend for coffee, she was delighted to learn about the book because she’s a reader. These two encounters set the tone for a good day! After that, a steady stream of fans, friends, and former co-workers came through – some carrying their paperback copies, others to purchase them and/or a CD. Coaching clients, new readers, Zumba peeps, and even someone who asked me to be a speaker at an upcoming event stopped by. I gifted Seasons of Her Soul Select, a music CD I recorded to complement the book to all who had taken the time to post reviews on Amazon. In that same generous spirit, many of the attendees posted pics and shared their time on social media. And I signed many books, thank you notes for ebook readers, and was on the receiving end of so much encouragement, support, a large chai tea latte, and love that it made for the best Seasons of Her Soul Book Signing!

As a Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose author, this day is one I’ll cherish always. I wrote Seasons of Her Soul to be a blessing to women and it’s doing just that. So many ladies took the time to share how I’ve encouraged or inspired them, not only with the book, but with my positivity. I’m deeply humbled by this and always try to give God the glory – another reason the book exists…Still, one of the most profound conversations I had was with a gentleman who bought a book as I packed up. He shared how his daughter has a restraining order on an ex-boyfriend and that a niece was murdered by one. WOW. He teared up as I signed a message of hope and blessings in the book he will give his daughter today – on her birthday. Yes, it was written for women, but it was written especially for this one – who is dealing with domestic violence. If that doesn’t make this the best Seasons of Her Soul Book Signing – I don’t know what would.
Thank you to all of you who have been Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose and followed my first book signing journey. You are the best readers!
Be savvy & chic,
~Pink Collar Coach
