A Daily Dose From The Smile Jar

A Daily Dose From The Smile Jar

It’s Day 137 of the Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Project and I’m so pleased with all of the progress I made today on preparations for Kick Up Your Assertiveness Quotient to Maximize Success workshop Saturday. I’m also feeling a bit pooped. In addition to the workshop, I made dents on homework from my book coach, coached an entrepreneur through a challenging situation, and made a great networking connection, H7 Evolve. The latter is holds a weekly Connect on Friday mornings, and I’m excited to attend bright and early tomorrow morning. That being the case, I’m going to keep this post short and simply introduce a feature I plan to add to my daily posts or it may be a micro-post in the form of a Facebook, Linked In, or Twitter share (once I figure that one out). It’s called “A Daily Dose From the Smile Jar”.

Back in December when my family had a crisis, upon hearing about it, one of my wonderful life coaches came in the very next day with a beautifully decorated Smile Jar.

This  tag was attached and had explanations written on both sides. This is the front.

The back of the tag.

Since I began blogging, I’ve wanted to incorporate more inspirational messages into the posts but it hadn’t occurred to me to use The Smile Jar. Last night, however, I finished a beautiful novel, The Prayer Box, by Lisa Wingate, which tells the story of a diminutive, woman of mixed heritage, who was overlooked here on earth but who made a tremendous impact by sending prayers up to heaven. This character resonated with me so! Today, when I saw the The Smile Jar, I knew I’d found my way to inspire and hopefully make a similar impact.

As a Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Swan, I hope you’ll read and enjoy a Daily Dose From The Smile Jar starting tomorrow.

Be savvy & chic,

~Pink Collar Coach
