Something stuck out for me today, Day 51 of the Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose Project, as I finally heeded my husband’s suggestion that I read through the below article in the June 13, 2107 edition of Forbes magazine. Oprah Winfrey, who was listed third out of the sixty richest entrepreneurs and innovators featured in the article titled, America’s Richest Self-Made Women, gave a quote that didn’t focus on her net worth, it focused on being satisfied with the work that brings in the big dollars. Her words resonated with me.

So simple. So sagely.
This quote spoke to me because I’m trying to find my blogger’s voice. I’m not posting just to post, I’m posting because I want to have a positive impact on those who read my words. I want to make a difference in my small little cyber corner of the world. I want readers to hear me and to know if what I write matters in their lives.
If there’s anybody out there reading – listening, I’d love to hear back from you.
For now, I’m toast and can barely keep my eyes open.. Even so, my Pink Collar Coach challenge to all is that we be Pink Collar Savvy & Chic on Purpose and make sure we are satisfied with what we do – whether at home or at work, and that we make our words count for more than our net worth.
